LED Photofacial Therapy is the latest scientific advancement in anti-aging treatments to look younger and better without pain, discomfort, surgery or injections.
LED Photofacial Therapy helps to clear and soothe problematic skin, creates even skin tone and texture, purges and closes clogged pores, lightens age spots, sun spots and dark circles, diminishes crows feet and tightens sagging skin to remove fine lines and reduce wrinkles.
There are two key factors that contribute to aging in the skin. As we age, our metabolism slows down, resulting in a loss of cellular energy in the fibroblast cells (which produce collagen and elastin). Our bodys ability to produce necessary nutrients (required by fibroblasts) decreases as well. The result is a decrease in the production of collagen and elastin, which is the support matrix that keeps the skin looking young, firm and tight.
LED Photofacial Therapy deals with the first factor that contributes to aging in the skin - decreased cell energy in the fibroblasts. When exposed to uniform light at precisely 633 nanometers, these cells readily absorb the light and get highly energized, as the once were before the slow down in metabolism. LED Photofacial Therapy also increases cell membrane permeability, allowing for deeper penetration of active ingredients and nutrients.

Some people see results in as little as a few days and others take a month or two to notice a change. Various physical conditions, age, skin condition, diet, alcohol consumption, prescription drug usage, smoking, exercise and other factors influence the rate of improvement. The effects of LED Photofacial Therapy are often subtle at first, since unlike lasers, peels and other abiative treatments, LED Photofacial Therapy does not damage the skin to force it to regenerate. Your results will improve the longer you use the light and, although you should see improvement within 30 days, you should see a much more significant change after you've been using it for 3 months or longer.

If you have very sensitive skin it might be a good idea to start with a shorter treatment time and work up to the full treatment. Also, be sure to start with clean skin - lotions could heat up and cause a problem. If there is any redness or discomfort after treatment, applying a damp cloth afterwards will help calm the skin.

RED light stimulates and activates skin cells and promotes blood circulation. VISIBLE red light penetrates to a depth of about 8-10 mm, and is beneficial in treating problems close to the surface such as wounds, cuts, scars, trigger and acupuncture points, and is particularly effective in treating adverse skin conditions. Red light is absorbed by the skin and uses as a source of energy to stimulate fibroblast cell activating in the skin, which increases the production of collagen and elastin - the proteins responsible for your skin's tone and elasticity. Most red LED lights produce wavelengths, and are effective for rejeuvenating aging skin as well as treating acne and blemishes.
