Microdermabrasion: Frequently Asked Questions
What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is the most revolutionary new skin restoration process. It is used for skin resurfacing and treating a wide range of skin abnormalities. It regenerates the epidermal cell structure increasing the skin's elasticity and collagen, resulting in a more youthful skin.

How Does it Work?

This gentle technique is performed with a jet of medically graded corundum crystal (the next hardest mineral next to diamond). These crystals are vacuumed across the skin to remove the dead and damaged skin cells and to stimulate an increase in collagen production and cell regeneration beneath the surface of the skin, creating better skin tone and texture.
